Romans 12
12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life…your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life…and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Grow in your Faith. Strengthen your body.
Welcome to Everyday Ordinary™
Before you look at the workouts, download the nutrition guide, or start wondering whether you can do all of this perfectly, I need you to understand what you just stepped into.
Everyday Ordinary is our flagship course, but it is also our belief system.
It was built from Romans 12 and the understanding that your faith was never meant to live in one little box while your health, habits, relationships, work, stress and everyday decisions lived somewhere else.
God wants your real life.
Your sleeping, eating, working, walking-around life.
Not just the polished Sunday version.
Not just the thirty minutes you spend reading your Bible.
Not just the hour you spend exercising.
All of it.
Everyday Ordinary is where Scripture and science meet. We will study what God says about transformation while also learning how your body actually works. We’ll talk honestly about nutrition, movement, muscle, metabolism, hormones, stress, sleep and recovery.
Because you are not a collection of separate pieces.
You are a whole person. Body, mind and soul.
And real transformation must reach all three.
This Is Not Another Challenge
This is not eight weeks of punishment dressed up as discipline.
It is not a diet you white-knuckle your way through.
It is not about earning God’s approval, proving how committed you are, or becoming obsessed with your body.
And I did not create a fitness plan and stick a Bible verse on top of it.
Faith is the foundation underneath everything we do here.
Romans 12 begins with mercy. Before Paul asks us to offer our bodies, renew our minds or live differently, he reminds us of what God has already done.
That matters.
We don’t change so God will love us.
We begin changing because He already does.
This course will help you build a life that reflects that truth in practical, ordinary ways.
What you eat.
How you move.
How you rest.
What you believe.
What you repeat.
What you allow to shape your mind.
How you respond when real life interrupts the plan.
Because anybody can follow a plan during a perfect week.
We’re learning how to live this on a random Tuesday when you’re tired, stressed, busy and honestly don’t feel like doing any of it.
That’s where transformation becomes real.
What You’re Getting
Over the next eight weeks, you will receive a complete body, mind and soul framework designed to help you build strength, create sustainable rhythms and understand the deeper “why” behind the way you care for yourself.
Scripture and Bible Study
Romans 12 will be the foundation of our work together.
We will slow it down, study it and learn how it applies to the life you are living right now. This is not performative faith or surface-level encouragement.
We are going to look at what transformation actually means.
You’ll receive:
- Weekly Bible studies and teaching
- Daily Scripture and devotional guidance
- Practical questions to help you apply what you’re learning
- Weekly live teaching and conversation
- Recordings when you cannot attend live
- A simple rhythm to help you read it, write it, say it, pray it and move on it
The goal is not to collect more information.
The goal is to let truth change the way you think, choose and live.
Movement and Strength Training
You’ll receive three intentional workouts each week, scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
The training combines strength, functional fitness, conditioning, mobility and Pilates-inspired movement. It is designed to build muscle, improve stability, support your metabolism and increase your capacity to live well for the next twenty, thirty or forty years.
You do not have to be an athlete to begin.
You do not have to keep up with anyone else.
Every workout can be modified for your current fitness level. The goal is to meet your body where it is while continuing to challenge it to become stronger.
For at-home workouts, you’ll want:
- One lighter pair of dumbbells, around five pounds
- One heavier pair of dumbbells that challenges you safely
- A mat
- Water
- Enough space to move
On the days you are not strength training, you will be encouraged to walk, recover and stay gently active.
One of those walks will be our Worship Walk. This is time to step away from the noise, move your body, listen, pray and reconnect with God.
Movement is not punishment for what you ate.
It is one of the ways you participate in the life you have been given.
Nutrition Without the Nonsense
You will learn how to build meals around real, whole foods without turning food into another source of fear, shame or obsession.
We will focus on:
- Eating mostly one-ingredient, whole foods
- Building meals around adequate protein
- Supporting muscle, metabolism and stable blood sugar
- Choosing carbohydrates and fats with intention
- Hydration and electrolytes
- Creating meals that fit your actual schedule
- Understanding portions without becoming consumed by numbers
- Learning how hormones, sleep and stress can affect hunger, energy and body composition
- Making room for real life without throwing the entire plan away
You may receive a structured nutrition template based on your needs. A customized meal plan may also be available separately.
The goal is not to eat “perfectly.”
The goal is to become informed, consistent and capable of making decisions without starting over every Monday.
Midlife, Hormones and Longevity
Midlife changes the conversation.
Perimenopause, menopause and andropause can affect sleep, recovery, energy, muscle, body composition, insulin sensitivity and the way you respond to training.
We are not going to ignore that.
But we are also not going to blame hormones for everything or act as if your body has suddenly become your enemy.
Throughout the course, we’ll have practical teachings and pop-up conversations around topics such as:
- Perimenopause and menopause
- Andropause and men’s hormonal changes
- Muscle loss and longevity
- Insulin resistance and blood-sugar health
- Stress, cortisol and recovery
- Hormone-replacement therapy education
- Supplements
- GLP-1 medications and peptides
- Sleep and nervous-system health
This information is educational and is not a replacement for individualized medical care. Use it to ask better questions, understand your options and work more effectively with your healthcare provider.
No fear.
No shame.
Just honest information that helps you make wiser decisions.
Community and Accountability
You were never meant to do all of this by yourself.
Inside The Table, you’ll be surrounded by people learning how to walk this out in real life.
This is where you can:
- Check in
- Ask questions
- Share what you are learning
- Celebrate victories
- Be honest when you are struggling
- Receive encouragement
- Join live conversations and coaching
- Build relationships with people moving in the same direction
Accountability here is not someone policing you.
It is having people who remind you who you are and what you said mattered when life gets loud.
What I Expect From You
I do not expect perfection.
I do expect participation.
Show up honestly.
Complete three workouts each week when you are physically able.
Walk on the other days.
Build your meals around whole foods and protein.
Open your Bible.
Join the weekly teaching live when possible, or watch the recording.
Check in with the community.
Ask questions.
Pay attention to what God is showing you.
And when you miss a workout, eat something that wasn’t planned, or have a hard week, do not disappear and do not start over.
Come back at the next decision.
That is part of the work.
You do not need another dramatic restart. You need rhythms that can survive your real life.
Before You Begin
Take a few minutes to do these five things:
- Introduce yourself inside The Table.
Tell us who you are, where you’re joining from and what you hope will be different by the end of these eight weeks.
- Put your workouts on your calendar.
Plan for Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Decide now when and where you will train.
- Choose your walking times.
Add short walks on your non-training days and schedule your weekly Worship Walk.
- Gather your equipment.
Have your dumbbells, mat, water and Bible ready before your first workout.
- Write down your starting point.
How are you sleeping?
How is your energy?
How strong do you feel?
How consistent are you with food and movement?
What has been occupying your mind?
How connected do you feel to God?
You may take measurements or photos if they are helpful to you, but your progress will not be reduced to a number on a scale.
We are also looking at strength, energy, confidence, peace, consistency, endurance, thought patterns, spiritual growth and your ability to keep showing up.
One Last Thing
Please don’t rush through this trying to get to the “results.”
The work is not separate from the result.
These ordinary decisions are where your life is being formed.
Every meal will not be perfect.
Every workout will not feel amazing.
Every Bible study will not give you an emotional moment.
Some days will feel powerful.
Some will feel very ordinary.
That’s the point.
God does some of His deepest work in the places that don’t look impressive enough to post.
So start where you are.
Bring the body you have today.
Bring your questions.
Bring your resistance.
Bring your messy schedule.
Bring your faith, even if it feels small right now.
You do not have to arrive transformed.
You only have to be willing to begin.
Welcome to Everyday Ordinary.
Let’s walk this out together.
Jenuinely Rooted
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all of these things will be add to you ..
what if the answer isn’t trying hard harder?… Jesus didn’t say, get your food. Perfect, your workout is perfect, your body perfect, your schedule perfect, and then come to me….. He said ‘ Seek first the kingdom..’
before the macros..
before the scale..
before the to-do list..
Before the anxiety….
Before the endless striving to become enough…
Seek him …..
And when we do, everything else begins to find it’s proper place..
The workout becomes worship! Food becomes nourishment! Rest becomes obedience! And health becomes capacity for the calling God has placed in our lives….
Faith, community, growth. And there’s a seat for you…
Matthew 4:4
me and shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes in the mouth of God…
This is where faith and feel me… I go by for Bible studies… On his conversations… About nourishing your body… No performing… No perfection… Just the word, real food, and a community that stronger together pull up a chair join us at the table
The Quiet Return
Somewhere along the way, “healthy” turned into one more thing to strive for another list, another number, another way to fall short. This is where you set that down.
The Quiet Return is a 12-week guided return to what matters most. Over three seasons Return, Reorder, Walk It Out we quiet the noise, rebuild your strength, and reset how you eat, move, and rest. Not through more hustle, but through rhythm.
Every day you’ll have:
• A live class ..we move together, in real time
• A daily devotion ..the Word before the workout
• On-demand videos ..so you’re never behind, only returning
I’ll coach the physical … how you train, how you fuel, how you recover. God does the restoring from the inside out. Your job is simply to show up quiet, and let Him.
“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength.” Isaiah 30:15
Your body was never the point…
This isn’t about chasing a smaller body or a stricter routine! It’s about becoming strong, steady, and rooted! From the inside out… I coached the physical, how you train, how you feel, how you rest, God does the deep work together, we try the endless driving for substantial rhythm, body mind and spirit, so you can walk it out daily healed at the root…
Meet Jennifer …
Nice to meet you…
I didn’t get here the easy way
For almost 30 years, I chased strong. I stood on bodybuilding stages. I ran ultramarathons …miles most people save for their car. I built a gym and coached hundreds of women. From the outside, I looked like someone who had it all together.
Inside, I was exhausted. Because no stage, no finish line, no number ever answered the question underneath it all: am I enough yet? I kept training harder, hoping the next goal would finally quiet it.
Then came a season I couldn’t out-train. A breast cancer scare. Financial ground giving way beneath me. It all came at once ..and suddenly every strong thing I’d built couldn’t hold the weight. For the first time, I had nothing left to perform. Just me, and God, and the silence.
And that’s where I found it …the thing striving never gave me. I didn’t have to hold it all together. He was never after my performance. He was after me.
That’s how I coach now. I’ll help you get strong, fuel your body well, and move with purpose ..that’s my lane, and I love it. But the deeper work, the healing at the root? That’s His. I just help you get quiet enough to let Him do it.
Rooted in Him. Built for more.
I wrote about all of it …the striving, the stripping away, the surrender ..in my book, Somewhere Between a Rock and a Holy Place. If any of this is your story too, that’s where the whole thing lives.
R12 Coaches Certification
This isn’t another fitness certification with a Bible verse added to the workbook.
R12 is a 21-week Christian lifestyle coaching certification rooted in Romans 12 and built for coaches who feel called to help people experience real, whole-person transformation.
You’ll learn how to coach beyond workouts, meal plans and temporary motivation by addressing the complete person: body, mind, habits, relationships, faith and calling. We’ll bring biblical truth together with practical coaching methods and the science of movement, nutrition, recovery, hormones and behavior change.
But before you’re taught how to lead others, we’re going to deal honestly with how you’re living.
Because information alone doesn’t make someone a powerful coach. Your life, your integrity and your willingness to practice what you teach matter. R12 begins with your own transformation, then equips you to walk alongside others with wisdom, confidence and compassion.
Throughout this certification, you’ll learn how to:
- Apply Romans 12 as a practical framework for everyday life
- Coach sustainable change instead of temporary compliance
- Integrate Scripture and science without watering down either
- Lead conversations around movement, nutrition, rest, mindset and spiritual growth
- Recognize what sits beneath someone’s repeated patterns and setbacks
- Create safe, honest coaching relationships built on truth and accountability
- Develop your own faith-led coaching method, message and offer
- Build a coaching practice that serves people well and supports your calling
This is for the coach, trainer, ministry leader or health professional who knows people need more than another plan.
They need someone willing to come alongside them and help them live differently—not just for eight weeks, but in the everyday, ordinary places where lasting transformation is actually built.
Rooted in Scripture. Grounded in science. Equipped for the calling.
The Foundation of life that lasts..
The world teaches us to chase outcomes...God teaches us to build foundations…Before nutrition...Before fitness…Before routines…Before goals….
We start with identity.
1. A Relationship With God…Everything begins here.
Not religion.
Not performance.
Not trying harder.
A relationship with Jesus that reminds us who we are when the world gets loud.
Because if we don’t know who He says we are, we’ll spend our lives searching for identity in everything else.
2. A Relationship With Yourself
You are not what you weigh. You are not your mistakes...You are not your productivity...You are loved before you accomplish a single thing.
When you understand your identity in Christ, you stop trying to earn what has already been freely given.
3. A Relationship With Movement
Movement is not punishment.
It’s preparation.
We move our bodies so we can have the strength, energy, and capacity to walk out what God has called us to do.
To serve.
To lead.
To love.
To endure.
Not because we’re trying to become worthy.
Because we already are.
4. A Relationship With Food
Food is fuel.
It is not your enemy.
It is not your reward.
It is not your emotional support system.
God created food to nourish your body and support your purpose.
When food stays in its proper place, it becomes a gift instead of a burden.
5. A Relationship With Community
We were never designed to do life alone.
You need people who remind you of truth when you forget it.
People who encourage you.
People who challenge you.
People who call you higher when you’re tempted to settle.
Because isolation rarely produces transformation.
Community does.
6. A Relationship With Gratitude
Gratitude changes what we see.
Instead of focusing on everything that isn’t finished, we begin noticing what God is doing right now.
The journey becomes less about perfection and more about faithfulness.
Less about arrival and more about becoming.
The Quiet Return isn’t another program.
It’s an invitation.
A return to God’s Word.
A return to health without obsession.
A return to movement without punishment.
A return to community without comparison.
A return to the person God created you to be.
Because lasting transformation doesn’t happen when we try harder.
It happens when we return to what matters most.
“Helping women return to what matters most: God, identity, nourishment, movement, community, and purpose.”
